President and Co-Founder
Matthew Jones has been president and co-founder of Advanced Control since 1990, the year the company started. The company began following the acquisition of Applied Conservation Services in 1990. Matt graduated from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. During his summer breaks from college, Matt worked in the building automation industry in New England, where he began his career gaining knowledge and experience of the trade.
As the youngest person to complete the Andover/TAC Programming School, Matt defines ambition in his field. Prior to founding Advanced Control Corporation, Matt worked at Westover Controls Corporation in Denver, Colorado in the sales and sales management divisions. Matt now has 28 years of experience in the building automation industry. His knowledge encompasses every aspect of the building automation industry, including administration, finance, acquisitions, manufacturing, engineering sales, marketing, installation and service.
As a married father of three, Matt is thoroughly devoted to both career and family. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth sports, fishing, boating, and traveling with his family. Vice President and Co-Founder
David has served as vice president of Advanced Control Corp. since its founding in 1990. Prior to co-founding Advanced Control Corp., David was employed at Landis & Gyr Powers in Boston. His experience as a top producer in the sales end of the business was the catalyst for a successful career in building automation. With 28 years of experience in the building automation industry, David's knowledge encompasses every aspect of the building automation industry, including administration, finance, acquisitions, manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing, installation and service.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY. Devoted to both his career and family, he enjoys an active lifestyle, coaching youth sports, skiing, golfing and boating with his family.
Carlos has served as the Director of Sales since 1999. With more than 24 years in the building automation industry, Carlos works closely with his clients, guiding them through the scope of implementing the ideal building automation system and ensuring that the continued service they receive is impeccable.

A married father of three, Carlos' interests include woodworking, gourmet cooking, wine, skiing with his family, golf and horology.
Courtney joined the company in 2000, working in the administration department. In 2007, she was named company controller. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in accounting.
In her free time Courtney enjoys her blue tick hound, George, hiking, camping and kayaking.
